'Our Forests' documentary series premieres in Monaco: an inspiring perspective on global forest conservation

On November 21, 2023, we witnessed a remarkable opening of the first international conference of the Forests and Communities Initiative in Monaco.
The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation hosted an exclusive premiere of "Our Forests" at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. Joined by producer Muriel Barra and indigenous chiefs Hilarion Kassa Moussavou "Mambongo" (Gabon), Benki Piyãko (Brazil), Twyla Edgi Masuzumi (Canada), Mundiya Kepanga (Papua), and Tumursukh Jal (Mongolia), the episode "Brazil - Replanting the Amazon" shed light on Benki Piyãko's efforts.
This captivating series explores vital forest ecosystems worldwide, with each leader sharing their unique stories. The premiere was followed by a powerful round table discussion, uniting indigenous voices in the "Our Forests #OurResponsibility" campaign.
